This detection method deploys a plastic pipe network with various size sample holes throughout that intake air into the pipe to the detector.

These detectors have various filtration and detection level settings to ensure dust is filtered out and on the air is sampled for smoke and on application specific level for alarm can be set to be more or less sensitive saving false alarms.
